One Step at a T;me
Created in loving memory of Tanner Faircloth, the March Fourth Organization honors his life and spirit by offering hope to individuals facing mental health challenges and to the loved ones who support them. Named to align with Tanner’s birthday, March Fourth also embodies a powerful message—an encouragement to keep moving forward, even when the path feels difficult.
We work to provide essentials, resources, positive experiences, and compassionate support to those navigating mental health struggles. Our goal is to help individuals and their families continue taking steps forward —big or small—toward healing and stability during challenging times.
We believe in a world where conversations about mental health are free of stigma and shame.
Our hope is that one day, very soon, mental health concerns will be as openly discussed, accurately diagnosed, and effectively treated as physical health issues are today. No one should ever have to suffer in silence.
Our motto is “One Step at a T;me”. This motto reflects our commitment to gentle progress and encouragement. We want individuals who are struggling to know that they don’t need to do everything at once. One small step—one moment of staying, one act of reaching out—is enough. Healing happens gradually, and we honor that process. The semi-colon in "T;me" symbolizes mental health awareness by marking a pause, rather than an ending, showing that a person’s story isn't over, even in the face of mental health struggles.
Our approach is inspired by the resilience of the human spirit, our identity and color palette blends meaning with intention:
-
Tan symbolizes Tanner—his nickname and the warmth he brought to those who knew him and the kindness that he even brought to those that didn't.
-
Forest Green represents the trees on the trail Tanner walked with loved ones—a place of reflection, grounding, and connection with nature.
-
The fox is our sign that Tanner is with us every step of the way.
-
Together, this intentional approach embodies hope, empathy, courage, kindness, and growth, the foundation of everything we do.
